OnJam Lounge is back for a second series, this time directed by Andrew Staples at London’s Fidelio Cafe!
The series contains six spectacular performances by world-class musicians.
Each performance is 30-40 minutes long, filmed in 4K and has been professionally sound engineered. Each one is unique, informal and intimate. Audiences all over the world will get a rare glimpse into the musicians’ world and process.
To reinforce this idea, all of the artists will attend their own online film premiere. Audiences will be able to meet the musicians after the film screening via video chat and ask them questions… all using OnJam’s new “Rooms” feature.
Andrew Staples, director of the films, said: “OnJam Lounge sessions are special. They let you get close to world-class artists in a setting where everyone feels relaxed and creatively supported. This is bespoke content made for your screen but aiming to capture that essence of excitement that makes live performances unique. It’s unvarnished - yet highly polished.”
Here they are…
Transport yourself into a world of jazz and imagination, against a backdrop of London’s bright lights.
This concert features Jason’s own works including “Happy But For How Long” and “When Words Fail,” plus an original version of Paul McCartney’s Blackbird, and more.
We love this clip:
The premiere event for Jason Rebello at Fidelio Cafe is on 25 November at 7pm GMT. Tickets are here.
If you can’t make the live event, you can watch the film on demand after the initial broadcast. The ticket link is the same.
You can also directly support Jason using his OnJam tip jar.
Lizzie is a violinist, vocalist, concert producer and founder of Classical Kicks. Miloš Milivojević is an award-winning Serbian accordionist described as “A hurricane of imaginative invention” by Hilary Finch, The Times.
Together, they present a fabulous programme of iconic (mostly) classical music in a new way. The programme includes Astor Piazzolla’s Libertango and Monti’s Czardas, as well as La Vie En Rose and Toss The Feathers by The Corrs.
Here’s a snippet of their Piazzolla arrangement:
The premiere event for Lizzie and Miloš at Fidelio Cafe is on 28 November at 6pm GMT. Tickets are here.

Anna’s voice and songs have been described as “skeletal paintings of moods and reflection” and “strong and sonorous, yet with a vulnerability that feels as if she’s in the same room as you.”
In this close-up set, you’ll get the unfiltered Anna and lots of her original songs including Since We Broke Up, Baby Grand and Corncrakes.
We can’t get enough of this clip:
The premiere event for Anna B Savage in the basement at Fidelio Cafe is on 30 November at 7pm GMT. Tickets are here.
If you can’t make the live event, you can watch the film on demand after the initial broadcast. The ticket link is the same.

When Lotte came up with her idea of a food and wine-themed programme, we immediately knew it had to be performed from the kitchen.
Lucky for us, the Fidelio Cafe’s kitchen is not only photogenic but also has a great acoustic…
If this clip doesn’t brighten up your day, we don’t know what will:
The premiere event for Lotte and Harry at Fidelio Cafe is on 12 December at 6pm GMT. Tickets are here.
If you can’t make the live event, you can watch the film on demand after the initial broadcast. The ticket link is the same.

When Helen looked back on that first lockdown in 2020, she remembered that she kept thinking about Purcell’s Evening Hymn.
So it was only fitting that Andrew Staples and the production team captured her performance of it in a reflective, beautiful way for OnJam Lounge as London was reopening in late 2021.
Here’s a clip:
The rest of Helen Charlston and Natalie Burch’s programme includes music by Robert Schubert, Clara Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Henry Purcell and Joshua Borin’s Nature Is Returning, from the hugely successful lockdown project, Isolation Songbook.
The premiere event for Helen and Natalie at Fidelio Cafe was on 1 November at 7pm GMT.
You can still watch the film by getting a ticket here.

The Marsyas Trio’s OnJam Lounge session is a whimsical mix of archival film, travel and music.
Faced with the question, “how will this filmed concert push the creative boundaries of classical music,” director Andrew Staples came up with lots of answers. One was to bring a new visual element into the music with archival film footage.
Here’s a snippet of the Marsyas Trio playing Haydn with Charlie Chaplin footage:
The premiere event for The Marsyas Trio at Fidelio Cafe was on 29 October at 7:15pm GMT.
