Streamed from St. John’s Smith Square on 3rd April 2021

JS Bach’s St Matthew Passion is a monumental reflection on the final days of Christ’s life has a central place in the celebration of Easter not only for audiences worldwide, but also for us as players and singers. It therefore gives us huge pleasure to be able to share this concert film with you, our first performance together as an ensemble for over a year. We will perform the work without a conductor, with one-voice-per-part and single instrumentalists, in one of London’s most beautiful Georgian churches in the heart of Westminster.
