You asked for him... we listened, and we are delighted to welcome him back, online on OnJam.tv, to Ongar Music Club.

So, he's back... by popular demand... this master musician will delve in to many musical genres and bring you the widest possible collection of uplifting seasonal pieces to celebrate all that is good about life.

Representing the classical corner will be the likes of Dvorak, Saint Saens and Shostakovich, with a pinch of 60's and 70's chart toppers, a contemporary Welsh composer and a piece from Latin America will all add to the mix.

Simeon was born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and started playing the flute at the age of 8. After 10 years, Trinity College of Music, London, was where his performance and writing skills were honed. And in 1986 was made a Fellow of the college.

Simeon enjoys performing all over the world playing on an ever-increasing array of unusual instruments, all with unique sounds. “My work as an itinerant musician has led me to play in extraordinary venues. From caves to castles, Palaces to giant redwood forests as well as the more conventional festivals, cruise ships, halls, theatres and art centres”.

When he's not touring he is regularly commissioned to write music for television and theatre productions. He’s appeared on BGT,  the BBC’s One Show and the Chris Evans Breakfast show.

During lockdown Simeon released his 12th solo album "Feeling Good" which presents an abundance of imaginative arrangements in a stunning and diverse collection of pieces. Blazing Celtic rhythms, thought-provoking melodies, classic rock and delicious power ballads  represent Simeon’s finest album to date. A true reflection of just how versatile this flautist is.
