Yes! You can create events ('shows') on OnJam using pre-recorded footage or you can stream live.

If you're using a pre-recorded video or film, you have two choices:
Recorded Broadcast: Release your video or film at a specific time. Your audience will watch 'as live'. You choose how long they have access for, e.g. 3 days after the broadcast.
Video On Demand: Make your video or film available for your audience to watch anytime they like. People can buy a ticket anytime they like, and you choose how long they have access for, e.g. 5 days or 30 days after ticket purchase.

After a recorded broadcast has happened, it will automatically be converted into an on demand show. This means that people who missed the live broadcast will be able to watch your show when it suits them.

If you're going live, you'll create a live broadcast or livestream. To set this up, make sure you have:
An ethernet internet connection - you will get a stronger and more reliable internet connection by being plugged in, rather than on wifi
An upload speed of at least 5 Mbps. You can check your internet speed here: https://www.speedtest.net/

Here are more details on how to livestream with OnJam.

We’ve designed OnJam to be straightforward and intuitive, and we've tested with artists like you to double check. We also provide an OnJam person to support on everyone’s first stream, whether it's live or not, so don’t worry.

To get started, sign up for an Artist Account. Once you've been approved by a member of the OnJam team, we'll walk you through each step of setting up your first show.
