Spotlight on 'Renewal': interviews and performances by United Strings of Europe

The United Strings of Europe's new album 'Renewal'  has been heard over 500 thousand times since its release in January this year.

In this film you will see new filmed performances of music by Joanna Marsh, Osvaldo Golijov, Felix Mendelssohn and Caroline Shaw from the album released on BIS Records earlier this year.

Additionally, artistic director Julian Azkoul and guest soprano Ruby Hughes sit down with Charlotte Gardner to talk about the concept behind the album, the process of recoding it during lockdown, and background about the works you will see and hear.
